asciidoctor manual seems incomplete

Mark S
I have discovered that I can center a paragraph like this:

[.text-center]
This paragraph will be centered

However, I cannot find this documented in the manual ( https://asciidoctor.org/docs/user-manual/ ). The only references are for centering cells in tables or images.

You are correct that the HTML and PDF converters support the text-<position> roles for paragraphs, where position can be left, center, or right.

The documentation still lacks 100% feature coverage. If you'd like to help get us to 100% by filling in information about this feature, here's the repository where it lives: https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor.org

Best,

I've tried to add a note about para alignment doing a pull request (actually two separate ones that are needed together because I'm no expert on github) #869 and #870.

Although I can't help you find more documentation, I can tell you how to find out what you have available.

asciidoctor attributes map to CSS class names. You can see all of the default asciidoctor classnames in the default asciidoctor.css file, which on my system is /usr/local/Cellar/asciidoctor/2.0.9/libexec/gems/asciidoctor-2.0.9/data/stylesheets/asciidoctor-default.css.
The location of your default may be different, depending on where you installed asciidoctor. When you search in that file, you can see entries such as .
