Hello,
I am using asciidoctor pdf to generate a PDF from asciidoc. I use this character in my asciidoc ✓ but it does not render in the PDF. Is there any workaround for this? Sid PS: I am using # ls /usr/lib/ruby/gems/2.5.0/gems Ascii85-1.0.3 mini_portile2-2.4.0 addressable-2.7.0 multipart-post-2.1.1 afm-0.2.2 nokogiri-1.10.5 asciidoctor-1.5.8 pdf-core-0.7.0 asciidoctor-2.0.10 pdf-reader-2.3.0 asciidoctor-confluence-0.0.2 polyglot-0.3.5 asciidoctor-diagram-1.5.19 prawn-2.2.2 asciidoctor-epub3-1.5.0.alpha.9 prawn-icon-2.5.0 asciidoctor-mathematical-0.3.1 prawn-svg-0.29.1 asciidoctor-pdf-1.5.0.beta.7 prawn-table-0.2.2 asciidoctor-revealjs-2.0.0 |

Based on similar problems with antora, I’d ask if that character is present in font for your pdf.
No idea if this is relevant, but it’s probably easy to check. David Jencks

Yep, that's exactly it.
