Have you been able to get it working?

Robert Panzer and I discussed the idea of adding a sample extension to the Asciidoctor Gradle examples so that you can see it in action. Though, I think the best thing is to have a tutorial for extension writers in both Ruby and Java/Groovy land. We definitely have plans to create one.
