Should static site generator metadata be stored in AsciiDoc header?

jonbullock
Suggested format of AsciiDoc file for use with JBake: https://gist.github.com/jonbullock/6197594

My thinking behind this was to follow a similar strategy to the other supported formats (raw HTML & Markdown) in JBake and keep JBake required metadata out of the content itself. I thought consistency was the best way to go.

However Dan has suggested the JBake metadata be kept inside the AsciiDoc header using specific JBake attributes which has made me reconsider.

Should JBake support storing the the metadata in the AsciiDoc header, keep it separate or should both options be supported?

Or another option is to change the header style as Alex suggests...?
