Yes, you need to enable substitutes of the positional attribute by enclosing it single quotes (kind of like interpolation in a programming language)

[quote, 'Some author in _their book_']

Greetings,

I've looked for this, but haven't found a good answer yet.  I'm trying to do the following

[quote, Some author in _their book_]
____
The quote
____

However, the rendered out put is:

Some author in _their book_

not

Some author in their book

Is it possible to do this?
