I tested the code with a source file named

sample - 3.xml

The (few, minor) code-changes are visible at https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-fopub/pull/84/files

(This 'fopub.bat' file is the one in the main, 'asciidoctor-fopub' folder.)
