Hello,

I plan to move some of my old content to Asciidoctor and use Emacs as my editor along with typo-mode which enables me to e.g. simply enter " ", --, ---, ... and get smart quotes “”, endash  –, emdash —, ellipis … etc.

Now, I'm aware that the next version should resolve this issue, but wonder if there is any drawback if I continue using Emacs with typo mode entering those smart-typography symbols directly into my source markup?
