First of all thank you so much for improving that part of code.

The irony of the fate is that my first idea was to install the gem using Maven (not as worked as your solution but using same approach), but after talking with Jason, I thought I could also do that by installing gems directly to target directory (which of course I was wrong as we have seen), so no two executions of Maven were  required, and it was "easier" to be integrated with development phase, and because at that time it worked I left as is.

But yes obviously my approach was wrong, now it works pretty well so I am so happy.
