Bart Kamphorst has done some initial research on how to modify the pygments.rb gem to run on JRuby (and thus AsciidoctorJ). There are quite a number of users who would like to use Pygments with AsciidoctorJ, so this is a really important bug to fix. Anyone want to see if Bart's changes are enough to get the tests working, and if not, what else needs to be changed?
Once this issue is resolved, we can ship pygments.rb with AsciidoctorJ, thus allowing the pygments source-highlighter option to be used.
