justyfy-ing that whole article

mszmurlo
Hi,

I'd like to justify all paragraphs rather than have them left-aligned. Unfortunately [.text-justify] only applies to the current paragraph. Is there a command that would apply text justifying  to the whole document?

thanks

Maurycy,

That's correct, the role is a point change. It only applies to a single paragraph. If you want to justify the entire article, you'll need to either supplement the default CSS using docinfo or specify a custom stylesheet using the stylesheet attribute.

You can read more about these options in the following docs:

* docinfo - https://asciidoctor.org/docs/user-manual/#docinfo-file

One other option is to add the text-justify role to the doctitle.

[.text-justify]
= Document Title

content

However, this is probably going to justify things you don't want to justify. However, you could certainly try it.

Cheers,

-Dan

I thought the document title had to be the first line of the source.
Adding [.text-justify] works fine as the document has a fairly simple structure.

Thanks!

I'm glad to hear it works nicely for you. \o/

The doctitle doesn't have to be the first line. It has to be the first block. And since it's a block, it can host block attributes.

Best,
