I haven't made this switch yet. Several bugs have cropped up in 1.5.3, so I've been working on fixing those. We're getting pretty close to needing a 1.5.4 release now, probably next week-ish. When that is done, I'll switch master to 1.6.0. Cheers, -Dan On Thu, Nov 26, 2015 at 12:37 PM, Dan Allen <[hidden email]> wrote:

Thank you for this message! I just realized I missed the 1.5.3.x release announcement… I did not see your twitt. I think that the information about new release is not spread wide enough.
Is there a version overview page somewhere? I could not find it on asciidoctor.org Can we agree to post a mail on this mailing list (maybe starting with [Release] in the title)? Having an entry here is more stable than on twitter. Of course I do not expect that you do everything. I can help with posting an email on the mailing list or with updating a webpage if I am the first to notice. (and if there is an agreement on this). |

I agree the information is not spread wide enough, and that it's not getting updated in real time. That's why I opened the following issue: We'll need to split this into multiple issues, but that at least states the intention. In fact, we're looking for someone who is passionate about automation to help with this task and to guide it (and for Asciidoctor in general). I can string a pipeline together, but build automation isn't my specialty, so I'm sure it will be far less slick than what someone who does this type of thing everyday can do. If you know people that are interested, please let them know that we have a challenge for them :) Cheers, -Dan Dan Allen | @mojavelinux | http://google.com/profiles/dan.j.allen |
