Now I get a boring black and white PDF output:

But HTML output contains different colors, including blocks, TIP, WARNING, etc.:

How do I get the style of the PDF output same as HTML output?

You'll need to make your own theme. For information, see the Asciidoctor PDF theming guide.

We don't yet have a built-in theme that matches the appearance of the HTML output. I'm waiting until the keys stabilize a bit more before maintaining multiple built-in themes. See https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-pdf/issues/60.
