Font Awesome 5

Ted
Are there any plans to upgrade to Font Awesome 5? Or is version 4 adequate?

I just wanted to ask the question to gauge user interest and see if this is something the Asciidoctor project would be interested in supporting.

At work we are upgrading to the free version of Font Awesome 5.4. For free, they offer the solid style, brands, and grandfathered in some of the regular icons.

It has been a lot of work to find and update some of the old icon names to the new version names. So I'm not sure that it has been worth it just to get the new looking icons.

Ted,

There's an open issue where we are discussing this: https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor/issues/2535

The interest is there to migrate. The problem is, it's a major breaking change. For one, the icons are totally different, which is going to surprise a lot of people. But more than that, we are considering whether moving the SVG is the right approach, or perhaps that we need `:icons: svg` as a new option.

And this is another major concern.

Let's continue the discussion in that issue. Please post any relevant comments there so we can consider them when laying out the plan.

Cheers,

-Dan
