If I write an open block with a custom role, e.g.

I hoped for that the role "custom" should be transferred to the docbook translation, but instead it is only translated to: <simpara>Some text.</simpara>, with no role attribute attached to the simpara element. On the other hand, looking at the html-translation, here the custom role is saved in a <div> element for further processing. I'm writing a customized toolchain via docbook and the open block type with custom roles would be a simple method of creating block extensions without having to use the ruby extension interface.
