Hi folks,
I'm a newbie to AsciiDoc and AsciiDoctor; so I hope this is not just a well-trodden path...
I've a question that stems from something that AsciiDoc could apparently do: it supported single-quote expansion in positional attributes' values, as well as in "named" attributes', in an attribute list (
http://asciidoc.org/asciidoc.css-embedded.html#_attribute_value_substitution). That seems like something that would be very commonly useful (e.g. see the illustration that section uses).
AsciiDoctor supports this only in named attributes, according to my limited experience, and as suggested in
http://asciidoctor.org/docs/user-manual/#named-attribute.
So:
- Have I missed some important, relevant point?
- Is there a workaround, for getting various expansions inside positional attributes?
- Is there a possibility of a upgrade, at some point?
Many thanks!
Andrew
