Usage of MultipageHtml5Converter Extension

devunwired
I'm trying to make use of the MultipageHtml5Converter extension from extensions-lab (https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-extensions-lab) to split my document into multiple HTML files. I am able to register and call the backend just fine, but the output-chunked.html file that is written is completely blank.

I spent a little time looking at the code to try and debug the extension (since it said it wasn't complete), but I really have no idea what I'm looking at in order to try and diagnose the problem.

Is this extension usable with minimal effort? …or is there another way to generate split output?

There are several open pull requests I need to address that should stabilize it a bit more. I have no doubt there are still a lot of use cases it needs to cover. The extension is really just a demonstration of what is possible atm (hence why it's in the lab and not an official converter).

Without writing custom code, the only other way to get split HTML output at the moment is to convert to DocBook then use a2x to generate the multi-page HTML using the DocBook toolchain.
