New AsciiDoc backend when writing for Packt

gregturn
Greetings Asciidoctor community,

I recently signed a contract to write my 3rd book for Packt Publishing. They have OpenOffice and Word templates, but I chose to make things work with AsciiDoc.

You can read about it here: http://blog.greglturnquist.com/2014/05/asciidoc-springboot-packtpub-awesome-tool-chain.html

Dan suggested I cross post this here.

NOTE: Yes, I said AsiiDoc and not Asciidoctor. Whereas I really like several of the features found in Asciidoctor, I needed a leg up when it came to cranking out an OpenOffice format. I created https://github.com/gregturn/asciidoc-packt, a derivative of https://github.com/dagwieers/asciidoc-odf. To start from scratch and work with Asciidoctor, I would have to learn the details of the API and also the details of OpenOffice's file format. Too much to launch and meet my approaching deadlines.
