How to include bar chart ?

Jan
I'm new to the AsciiDoc stuff, so this might be a very dumb question.

Is it possible with AsciidoctorJ to put a bar chart into a pdf document ? That is, not by including the image of a bar chart. But rather have AsciidoctorJ render it based on data and style.

THX !

Dumb or unusual question ? Will I ever know ? :-)

Anyway, I've used JFreeChart to generate the bitmap images to include into the document. Works like a charm.

There's a chart extension being developed in the extension lab. It should be possible to use this extension with AsciidoctorJ.

See:

https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-extensions-lab/blob/master/lib/chart-block-macro/extension.rb

I think it's probably time we consider promoting this extension to a dedicated component / repository named asciidoctor-chart or something.

Cheers,
