Create inline block/macro with contents of a second adoc

GCoppez
Hi,

I may be missing how to do this in the user manual, which I have looked through, but I would like to include the contents of one adoc (Doc1) file within another couple of adoc files (Doc2, Doc3, Doc4 etc) so that I don't have to duplicate content in each of the files that need to include the same information.

So far I have tried to use include, link and <<>> interdoc referencing, but I just produce a link in the document (Doc2, Doc3, Doc4 etc) instead of the text from the first document (Doc1) .

Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks in advance!
Gaby

It actually seems to be an issue in rendering. If I use
include::Doc1.adoc[]

it works correctly when using Asciidoc Live Preview in Firefox, ie. pulls in the document inline, but does not work in Asciidoc.js in Chrome.

Not sure why that would be?
Thanks
