Just wanted to raise awareness of an AsciiDoc (using asciidoctor) extension created for Visual Studio Code (
https://code.visualstudio.com/).
I just installed Visual Studio Code to give it a try, and as part of my assessment, I looked for AsciiDoc/Asciidoctor support. It has an extension
https://github.com/joaompinto/asciidoctor-vscode, with highlighting and preview similar to Atom, but it requires to have a ruby installation with the gem in the path. It definitely can improve by in my case, it works nicely.
Personal note: I am not a fan of Microsoft policies, but one has to admit they are trying and they earn my respect for that. My impressions of the IDE are not bad so far and the Asciidoctor extension is nice.
