AsciiDoc on GitLab

Is there a config to govern the rendering of AsciiDoc files on GitLab? Right now, there is no vertical spacing between paragraphs, so they all run together.

In short, we need GitLab to update their software / styles to support AsciiDoc properly. There's no much we can do about that from the outside.
