A print book about Asciidoctor/AsciiDoc?

miles
My apologies if this has been discussed before (or if there is simply no interest), but I was wondering if you might consider publishing a print book (even via a print-on-demand service like Lulu) about Asciidoctor? Just having a bound version of the Writer’s Guide, Syntax Reference, and User Manual would be very helpful.

I've definitely given thought to the idea of writing a book about Asciidoctor, but I just don't have the cycles I need right now to dedicate time to it.

I don't think the User Manual or Quick Reference are anywhere near ready for publishing, even for print on demand. They need lots of review (for accuracy) and editing.

The first step here is to probably put the PDF generation in place so that we can add a link to the PDF generated by Asciidoctor PDF. That's an open issue.

I still think this is a great idea. But I don't think the time is right yet, at least not for me.

Thanks for the reply, Dan!

Looking forward to a print version whenever the time is right.

Very excited to have found your project. In fact, I could not contain my enthusiasm:

Asciidoc(tor)! Where have you been all my life?!

Aloha,

Miles

Awesome! Thanks for aggregating that page!

Something we definitely need on asciidoctor.org is a page like that to connect people with the resources they need. The information is quite scattered around at the moment.

Cheers,
